Drill and practice is a way of teaching where each student is taught a subject and is then tested on it. An example is teaching multiplication then doign an activity where a student must calculate 100 multiplication questions.

Lecture style teaching has all students simply listening to the teacher teach the lesson. An example of a lecture is a longer lesson explaing a battle or war that may not require work but instead just listening.
