Some tips to make our Video meetings more pleasant for everyone:
Do: Be aware of your video settings. Check if your microphone is muted before delivering a two-minute monologue that no one will hear.
Do: Participate in the meeting and volunteer to read or keep time.
Do: Feel free to send messages to the entire group and share what is in your heart.
Do: Be aware of what is in your background, video meetings allow you to blur your background or select an alternative background. (Offensive images will not be tolerated)
Do: Use the mute button. Can’t find that quiet place? Enter meetings on mute. And when you’re not speaking, mute the microphone so people can talk without hearing your dog bark every time a squirrel runs through the yard.
Don't: Position your camera too low, too high or hooked onto a different monitor. Weird camera angles can be very distracting -- and unflattering -- during video conference calls.
Don't: Direct message anyone with any negative comments, rude comments, or harrass anyone (this will not be tolerated)
