I’ve lived in the Evanston/Skokie community for over 10 years. I am married and stepmom to two remarkable young women who attended King Arts. I have a B.S. in chemistry and an MBA from DePaul University. I recently retired after a 26-year career in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where I was a senior director in quality assurance with global responsibilities.
During my career, I led numerous projects that were critical to ensuring the safety and efficacy of medications. My role demanded a high level of detail-oriented work, adherence to stringent regulatory requirements, and working with people from different cultures around the world. From these experiences I developed a robust skill set that includes leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning—skills directly transferable to the work of the District 65 school board.
In retirement, I have the opportunity to engage more deeply with our community through volunteer work. Serving as a member of the District 65 school board is an important way to contribute. If elected, I will be an active and committed board member, dedicating the necessary time and effort to fulfill this crucial role in our community.
