Jackson Jazz Lab and Wired Up Tour

April 10th - Jackson Jazz Band and Wired Up toured the elementary schools and put on performances for the students.

They showed off their hard work and amazing talent while entertaining their audiences!

Congratulations to all the performers and directors, and thank you to the elementary schools for hosting and the chaperones for making this possible!

The Jazz Combo's last concert of the year is Wednesday, April 15th at 7pm in Jackson Middle School's cafeteria.

Swingin' with Sweets

April 25th, Jazz musicians from Jefferson's band, orchestra, and choir held their annual Swingin' with Sweets concert.

Performers entertained the audience who indulged in desserts and snacks during the show.

IGSMA Contests - Jackson Choir and Jefferson Band

Jackson Choir and Jefferson Band participated in IGSMA on Saturday, March 14th.

Both programs did a wonderful job representing District 45, and we are proud of all their outstanding performances.

Thank you to Ms. Gafron and Mrs. Wallbruch for all your help preparing the musicians, and we appreciate the help from chaperones and families for making this event possible.

IGSMA Contests - Jefferson Orchestra, Jackson Orchestra, and Jackson Band

On Saturday, March 7th, Jackson Band, Jefferson Orchestra, and Jackson Orchestra participated in IGSMA where they played multiple pieces for judges.

Congratulations to all musicians for showcasing their hours of practice and hard work to perfect these songs.

Much thanks to Ms. Kayser, Ms. Vickers, and Mr. Koppel for all their leadership and guidance. Thank you also to the chaperones and families for their continued support of our programs!

Jackson Jazz Band did an outstanding job representing District 45 at IGSMA this Saturday.

They performed wonderfully and showcased all their hard work and talent.

Congratulations to Jackson Middle School on a stellar performance of School House Rock, Jr.!

The many hours of rehearsals and meetings paid off as cast and crew wowed audiences for three amazing shows.

Thank you to Ms. Gafron, Mr. Brown, Ms. Laborn, and all the "behind the curtain" individuals who helped make this production a success!

Choir Invitational

On October 21st, Jefferson and Jackson choirs joined Willowbrook on stage for an evening of song!

The groups performed independent pieces and then shared the stage together in a marvelous final performance.

We are proud of all the hard work and dedication put in by everyone and would like to thank Mr. Hernandez, Mr. Coronado, Ms. Gafron, all the accompanists, and families for a successful evening!

Orchestra Festival

Orchestra students from Jackson, Jefferson, and Albright Middle Schools joined Willowbrook High School for a night of stellar performances.

THANK YOU to all the students, directors, and families for making this collaboration possible!

It is wonderful when everyone can come together and share in their love of music and continue to build essential programs in our schools.

Band Day Rehearsal & Performance

A HUGE THANK YOU to Willowbrook High School, Mr. Rendak, the Marching Warriors, the middle school directors, the chaperones, and all the families who helped make this year's Band Day a success!

The middle schools performed "Livin' La Vida Loca" and the Star Spangled Banner with the high school band, then stayed to watch an amazing half time performance of X Marks the Spot!

We can't wait to see these future Marching Warriors on the field in the coming years!
