The ESP Constitution obligates the executive to provide the membership 45 days’ notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May. This is the membership’s first notice that the meeting is scheduled for: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.

Elections

Part of the meeting will require elections. There are up to 8 positions open:                

• President - 2 year term (Time release position currently held by Melodie Gondek)

• Vice-President - 2 year term (Volunteer position currently held by Judy Soifer)

• Treasurer - 2 year term (Volunteer position currently held by Saul Mogelonsky)

• Secretary/Communications Officer – 2 year term (Volunteer position currently held by Erin Martin)

• Associate Executive Officer – 2 year term (Volunteer position currently held by Maushumi Afroze)

• 2 Executive Officer Positions- 1 year term (Volunteer positions currently held by Keilan Faleri and Kelly Mills)

Nominations close on May 2, 2026, 4pm. The returning officer this year is Leif Walther. The address to return the forms via email is on the form itself. Please note that members need to be nominated by an ESP member, which could include self-nomination. A second member signature is required to complete the nomination. Nominations from the floor (at the meeting) are accepted for positions of executive officer only.

Attendees can expense up to $35 for a meal while attending this meeting. Itemized receipts and cheque requestion must be sent to Saul Mogelonsky (saul.mogelonsky@d25.osstf.ca) by May 13, 4pm to be reimbursed (no exceptions).
