The Sun Stone Spin is the only queue-powered attraction at the Ruins of K'uk'ulkan. While Sun Stones (or "Calendar Stones") were ingenious devices from the Aztecs, not the Mayans, the Sun Stone is still an important and widely known object from Mesoamerica. The story goes that the enlarged Sun Stone at the Ruins was stolen from ruins of a Aztec city up north by an ignorant Talokonil. A curse appeared at the area and the Sun stone began to spin and spin, when people began to sit on the edges of it. At some times, the Sun Stone would also receive the curse of the Rain God Tlaloc, and water sprays and shoots at unassuming tourists...
