Water is life.

Our planet is made up of over 71% water with the ocean holding 96.5% of all water on Earth. The ocean produces nearly every other breath we take and regulates our climate. It is one of our most valuable resources, and currently our most endangered one. Pollution, climate change, waste runoffs, and unsustainable practices have taken a toll on our most precious resource. A warmer ocean has less oxygen. A more acidic ocean produces less food. A more polluted ocean sickens sea life which can transfer to humans.

It’s clear the relationship of humankind with the oceans across the globe is crucial to life on Earth. To tackle the enormity of the ecological challenges ahead, we must shift hearts, minds and encourage action. However, a vast majority of humans will never experience the underwater world. We enjoy the beaches, live near the shores, and enjoy the waves, but we can never truly understand the beauty and importance of the ocean unless we can see it for ourselves. That is why Disney has approved the enormous undertaking of relocating the Seas from Epcot, and combining it with the ocean’s fiercest guardian, Namor (from Wakanda Forever) and his underwater home of Talokan. This pairing will not only help to emphasize the wonders of the ocean but use a popular Marvel franchise to create an emotional connection between humankind and nature. This comes together, in an entirely new world. at Disney's Animal Kingdom...
