Appeal Process

The NHS at Cy Woods offers an appeal opportunity in certain situations.

Once the committed has completed its review of all applications, each applicant will receive a letter through his or her English teacher that will explain the process of appealing the committee's decision, if applicable. Once the student receives that letter, he or she will be able to make an appointment with the sponsors in which we explain the committee's reason(s) the application was not accepted.

Following our initial meeting, the student will be given the opportunity to write a letter explaining how he or she feels he or she met the requirements needed to become a member of NHS, or providing any additional information or clarification requested from the committee.
