The purpose of the Cypress Woods National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of Cypress Woods High School.

1. Maintain an overall academic average of 5.8000 or greater each semester and no I's or U's in conduct.

2. Must complete one of more NHS projects per year with 10 hours of school service and 10 hours of community service per semester.

3. Attend NHS meetings (one absence per semester is permitted)

4. Must be responsible for submitting his/her own hours; hours are due within one month of the activity and should be turned in to Mrs. Rivard (1562) or Ms. Stephens (1663)
