“Be yourself! Everyone else is already taken.” – Oscar Wilde
✨ A Fanfare for Ms Danusri!🎺🥁🎺✨
May this YouTube shorts assignment be a stepping stone for your long and grand ascent to greatness!
Ms Danusri, this book is a token of appreciation for being truly DANUSRI
Dedicated
Appreciative
Nurturing
Unstoppable
Supportive
Resilient
Inspiring!
I must confess that, as a teacher, setting assignments (the way I set them) often feels like sending students into an unknown forest, hoping they will return with something that would be useful to them and make them antifragile, better and stronger! I know that students see them as burdens, nothing more than tasks to be ticked off the list (if they bother to do it, that is).
Danusri's impeccable professionalism, her timely communication, and her dedication to completing her assignment with such promptness have all been a true gift to me. In a world where it seems many would rather shirk responsibility, her enthusiasm and maturity shine like a beacon!
To see her complete all the YouTube shorts in the playlist filled me with a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction I never thought I would feel (especially in CSE1), since, despite my efforts to personally follow up with almost every student, it often felt like I was the one wandering through an unknown forest. But now, Danusri has returned, not only completing the journey across a wide landscape of ideas, voices, and ways of thinking, but also bringing back with her vast treasures of knowledge, diverse perspectives, and powerful ideas that will only make her greater.
I trust she has learnt a lot. Much more than that, I trust she has enjoyed the process!
I wish her all the best in everything she does! May she continue to grow, learn, and reach new heights. I have no doubt that her dedication and positive energy will carry her far, and that she will make a wonderful impact on everyone she would meet and in everything she would pursue!
You’re off to great things, Danusri, and I look forward to hearing all about them!🤗
Yours sincerely,
Andrew Veda
Live long and prosper!
✨A Big Kudos to Nandhika Dharshini!✨
Mademoiselle Nandhika Dharshini is absolutely crushing it!
Her play weaves in idioms, shades of meaning, and connotation from your question bank. In addition to all the activities in class, she has written 70 sentences, a 4-page essay, a 20-point checklist, and the other exercises in your question bank. Even though she missed an hour, she wrote and analysed 100 slogans from famous advertisement campaigns and crafted 100 unique slogans. She goes above and beyond! She has, not one but two blogs! (Others, don't follow this example, one blog for your English assignment is fine!).
Five Stars is always active in class and all of them are motivating, hardworking, collaborative and creative. While others merely reminded me that I had forgotten to correct their notebooks, Mademoiselle Nandhika went the extra mile - scanning her notes and sending them to me! That is what being proactive means! And like most of you (most of you in this class have this amazing positive trait👏), she is extremely enthusiastic about improving herself, showing a remarkable openness to feedback and is always willing to correct her mistakes with a positive attitude and that too, instantly!
Being a part of the bubbly Five Stars, Nandy has blazed her way to the top of the leaderboard. Kudos!
And most importantly, she did not lose any points for her attitude in class! With her incredible drive and dedication, Nandhika has blazed her way to the top of the leaderboard. Kudos!🥳👏✨

✨Saluting Anesh!🤗✨
At the start of the semester, Anesh G J was a man of few words. But with each class, he began to take responsibility in a way that was both admirable and contagious. No longer just a quiet student, he became a quiet force in the class, constantly following up on assignments and ensuring he didn’t just understand the tasks I had given, but that everyone else understood them too. He would ask questions from the perspective of disinterested learners, always ensuring that no one was left behind.
Anesh is not one to give advice and leave it at that. No, he goes beyond expectations. He captures screenshots, records videos, and even searches YouTube for additional material to help his classmates. And he does all of this without a thought for applause or recognition. Even while I have taken him for granted, he never got discouraged. Always curious, he would text me the latest discoveries he had made on his exploration (he has found a friend in Google!) and suggest new topics for class. Once, when I told him I was busy, he immediately stepped up, created Google Forms, managed Google Sheets, and updated me constantly. All this leadership did not alter his behavior in the slightest. He did not act like a leader or a person with ‘power,’ as I mentioned earlier, he continues to be a quiet person, even though he is now a quiet force in the class!
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." - Robert Collier.
On behalf of the class, I salute Anesh’s constant dedication and consistent effort!👏🤗✨
✨Shoutout to Aarathi!✨
With a stroke of brilliance and a dash of intergalactic wit, Ms Aarathi's play dazzles with charm, AI image and imagination! Her play doesn’t just bring back Birbal, it time-travels, mind-bends, and quotes Douglas Adams with effortless flair!
She boldly declared that “the meaning of life is 42,” and in doing so, joined the ranks of those who truly get it!
Her unique voice and her quiet strength leaves no doubt in my mind that she's going to be a wonderful writer, a trailblazing thinker and a sharp scientist!
"The best way to predict your future is to create it." - Abraham Lincoln.
In other words, you are ALWAYS the main character in your own story!🤗✨
✨Shoutout to Aarathi, Cassandra, and Harshini!✨
Dear Esteemed Ladies of Logic: Aarathi, Cassandra, and Harshini,
Brilliance is its own reward, and today, you proved it. The department is in awe of your quick wit, logic, and sheer cryptic genius!
It doesn’t matter that you did not get a prize today. External victory is a trifle. The real triumph is the thrill of the logical chase, the creative flash of inspiration, and the satisfaction of a clue cracked. As Ecclesiastes wisely puts it, "The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong." The race is the reward. The process is the reward. The journey is the destination!
True success belongs to those who dare to think. And think you did. Be proud of that! And so, in my eyes, you are the real winners!
Congratulations once again!
