🍎 Meet the Teacher Night
📅 Monday, August 10, 2026
🕒 Last Names A–L: 5:00 PM
🕒 Last Names M–Z: 5:45 PM
For everyone! Come meet your new teacher, drop off your school supplies, and reconnect with our amazing campus community.
ParentSquare -- The main communication hub for the district, campus, and your child's teacher. LISD will send you an activation email once your child is enrolled. Download the app and log in with the email or phone number you registered with the district. Set this one up first!
Home Access Center (HAC) -- Your portal for grades, attendance records, and report cards. LISD will email your login credentials to the primary guardian on file. On your phone? Download the eSchoolPLUS Family app and select Leander ISD -- same login as HAC on the web.

SDM (School Dismissal Manager) -- The app you'll use to change your child's dismissal method on any given day. Watch for a Welcome Email from info@schooldismissalmanager.com with your username and temporary password -- check your spam folder if you don't see it! Available on iPhone, Android, or via web browser.
Create your own account:
MySchoolBucks -- Set up your child's lunch account before school starts. Create your account directly on the site -- you'll need your child's student ID to link their account.
From one parent to another: HAC is most useful for attendance and report cards. For day-to-day communication -- teacher updates, event reminders, campus news -- ParentSquare is where most of the action happens. Get that one up and running first (you can do this as soon as your kiddo is registered!)
Doors open at 7:10 a.m. -- students should not arrive before this time as there is no supervision on campus before doors open.
Car riders -- pull into the car rider lane out front; teachers and administrators are stationed outside to open and close car doors and get your child moving into school quickly and safely
Walkers -- use the designated sidewalks to stay clear of the drop-off lane and enter through the front door
Bus riders -- buses drop off at the designated bus area in the back of the school and welcomed by staff.
As the year progresses you'll even see our Student Safety Patrol students joining the ranks -- helping open doors and welcome their classmates into school. It's one of those Cypress touches that makes the morning feel special!
First day note: On the first day, parents are welcome to walk their child to the classroom. A Google Form will be available at Open House night to pre-register for your first day badge -- watch ParentSquare for the link and fill it out as soon as it's shared!
From one parent to another: Don't wait on this one -- last year the badge line wrapped down the front of the building! Pre-registering means you walk straight in instead of waiting outside. It takes two minutes and makes a big difference on an already emotional morning.
We want your Cypress experience to be as smooth as possible. Here's who to contact when you need support!
