CYCU STUDENT CLUB LIST

The Extracurricular Activities Division wholeheartedly champions a well-rounded educational experience by enthusiastically backing student clubs, boosting skill development, and motivating academic enrichment, all while seamlessly connecting inter-university exchanges. We passionately advocate for a holistic education that thrives on civic participation, hands-on service-learning, and lively social interactions. By uplifting university life and nurturing personal growth, our devoted division empowers students to confidently stride towards a successful future.

Based on the principles of student autonomy and the spirit of serving fellow students, we aim to cultivate students' democratic and legal literacy, leadership skills, safeguard students' rights and welfare, and create a favorable learning and living environment on campus. 

We've got a total of 31 diverse clubs that focus on fostering student autonomy! These clubs are made up of various student organizations, such as the Student Union, Student Council, and Departmental Associations. They offer a wide range of activities, including orientation camps for new students, departmental sports events, talent nights, and more. The goal is to empower students to take charge and develop their leadership skills. Join us and be a part of our vibrant and dynamic student community.

There are a total of 26 academic and artistic clubs with the purpose of researching professional academia and humanities arts.
These clubs organize various academic research courses or hands-on observation experiences to integrate art and aesthetics into daily life, such as Astronomy Club, Calligraphy Club, Photography Club, and so on. 

These music clubs are made up of people who share a common love for music. They believe that music can shape their personalities and refine their character. Besides learning from beautiful melodies, they also take part in various music performances both on and off campus, like the Joint Choir Concert among Seven Universities, National Student Music Competition, and Karaoke Star Music Awards. In total, there are 11 music clubs where you can join and groove to the music! 

Fellowship clubs are for people to develop friendship. They bring together the alumnus who graduated from both public and private high schools. A fellowship club is formed on the basis of each high school’s alumni association. The aims of fellowship clubs include connecting the affections among club members, helping members deal with problems in life, and improving the interaction between alumni associations. 

The driving force behind service-oriented clubs is the belief in giving back to society and using their skills and abilities to make a positive impact. These clubs organize training camps and engage in visits and academic tutoring in local primary and secondary schools and communities. Additionally, they also conduct youth recreational camps during winter and summer vacation.
In total, there are 10 service-oriented clubs where you can contribute and show your love and care for the community! 

We've got 14 super fun clubs that are all about leisure and recreation! You can join clubs that focus on popular dance practices, outdoor activities like mountain climbing, biking, and survival games to connect with nature. And if you're into energetic and passionate activities, we've also got clubs for magic tricks, drama performances, animation, chess skills, and more! These clubs are all about having a good time and developing new hobbies and skills. Join us and let's have some fun together! 

Sports Clubs are for those who have great enthusiasm for exercise. These clubs will usually have outstanding achievements in annual competitions. Large interschool competitions and small games in the club will be held every academic year. Students can not only exercise to gain health but also receive the knowledge from the lectures of the coach. The coach will teach club members the skills and the gestures of exercise, and arrange the training schedule in accordance with the conditions of the club members. Besides, these clubs will participate in the national competitions, hoping to earn a place in the College Cup. The sports club is just like a big family where schoolmates will offer you advices about life and skills, and where people can find friends with the same interest.
