Scores will be posted approximately Wednesday or Thursday after the completion of the weekend's round.
If you have any questions about the scoring please email them to cyc.stcharles.golf@gmail.com
Please monitor the scores weekly. It will be extremely difficult to answer some of these questions 6 weeks in the past.
AS THE SEASON PROGRESSES WE WILL NOT GO BACK WEEKS TO VERIFY/CORRECT SCORES.
IT IS THE CHILD'S/PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE EACH WEEK’S SCORES ARE ENTERED CORRECTLY.
All questions should have the following information. If you do not provide this information I will reply asking for it before any investigation is done.
Please keep in mind that ultimately we will be dealing with 4200 scorecards:
Child First and Last Name
Team Code
Week in which the scoring question is related.
Time and Course in which questioned match was played.
The sheets posted to website include and are sorted by the following information:
Gender – Boy or Girl
Golfer Grade – this is the grade of the individual golfer, not the team grade associated with the team. If a child is younger than 5th grade they are grouped with the 5th graders.
Name/Team – this is the first name and first two letters in their last name plus the team name.
Total Average – this is the average of all the Qualified Scores. The final average will include the lowest 4 scores including the sub round.
If you miss a week a 63 is entered as a max score.
Sub Round – this is the lowest score of all sub rounds played to date. Keep in mind that only one sub round will be used in the overall rankings.
A golfer is only allowed to play 6 total rounds including sub rounds. If a golfer plays more than 6 rounds the latest round(s) will be removed from the system.
As it relates to scoring it is the child’s/parent’s responsibility to ensure their scorecards are totaled and entered into a scoring sheet at the end of the round.
If a score is not entered in the score sheet at the end of a round a max score of 63 will be entered for that week.
Sub rounds score must be entered into the scoring sheet as well. There is a section at the bottom of the scoring sheet to manually enter sub round scores.
