Project Background: This page provides you with basic introduction to cybersecurity, a general summary of the history of cyber security, and a background to why cyber security is so important.
The Basics: This section consists of three parts, the first details what is meant by personal information, specifically for consumers. The second part focuses on common threats faced people and businesses as well as how they can exhibit themselves. The third and final part describes some basic defense practices that you can easily put in place as well as what you should do after you have found a virus or been hacked.
Social: This section focuses on the environmental impacts of cybersecurity, privacy on the internet and commonly used tactics to violate it, and privacy on social media.
Business: This section details the importance of network security and some approaches to it, social engineering as well as how it works and what businesses can do to prevent it, and how hackers use psychology to exploit victims and how businesses can approach it.
Current events: This section discusses some general current threats and how to resolve them, major cyber security incidents, and finally, AI and the risks it poses to privacy.
