Our research lines focus on the study of light perception, photosynthesis, and photoprotection mechanisms in cyanobacteria & their potential applications. 

CYANOLIGHT is a multidisciplinary research group investigating how cyanobacteria sense, process, and respond to light. We combine molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology, physiology and biotechnology to understand these mechanisms and explore new applications for sustainable biotechnology.
