The probe tracer allows to test the collisions from the origin and to determine the final location of the camera, the system uses 3 probes of different sizes to allow a smooth transition as possible.
It also allows to change the parameters of post process and to test if the camera is overlapping in an object.
It also allows control by the level designer with collision profiles to be set in the objects of the level.
There are 3 possible configurations,
Full block , visibility Block , camera Block : blocks the probe, it can't pass through.
Tracer Ingore : visibility Block , camera ignore , does not allow the camera to overlap in the object but does not block the tracer.
Full ingore probe : ingore the tracking and allows the overlapping of the camera.
In the "Probe" settings, you will find the different probe tracing configurations, min/max length, speed of distance change, test collision profiles, test radius, and threshold delta which allows quick changes in case of fast action.
You also have a return event dispatcher for overlapping actor and component cases.
