The WHS Creative Writing Club publishes the annual, online, fine arts magazine, The Voice.
The WHS Creative Writing Club publishes the annual, online, fine arts magazine, The Voice.
- Poetry/prose submissions should be titled with the author's name and in Docs, Word, or PDF format.
- Writing has no length limits.
- Spoken word submissions should be in written and video formats (e.g., a PDF of poem + YouTube link of performance).
- Identify trigger warnings in submission, if applicable.
- Art submissions should be titled with the artist's name and in JPEG format.
- Artwork has no media limitations.
- An artist statement is encouraged but not required.
- Submissions must be original and school/culturally appropriate for publication.
- Requests to publish work anonymously are handled on an ad hoc basis.
- Deadline for annual edition is the second Friday in May. This year's deadline is Friday, May 13, 2022.
