Bio

Hsiang-Chieh Chen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University in 2002. He then obtained his Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Central University in 2005 and 2009, respectively. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a researcher at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, focusing on intelligent video analytics and energy-saving systems. He served as a senior engineer at Altek Corporation from 2014 to 2015, followed by a role as project manager at Coretronic Corporation from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National United University and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Central University. His research interests include computer vision, intelligent robotics, drones, and AI-enabled applications.
