Practice Tools

There are many ways to practice for your lesson. The following are suggested sites and apps that might help along the way:

Our Method book,  Sound Innovations,  has two ways to enhance your practice routine.  Click the document to the right for more detailed directions.

1. SI Online - This give you access to videos and recordings that will give additional instructions to any new concept in the method book. The speed of the accompaniment recordings can be adjusted to 70%, 100%, 150% and 200%. https://sionline.alfred.com 

We utilize Google Classroom in the music department. On there, you will find some useful links to apps and websites to help with note identification and rhythmic studies. 

•  Band mate Chromatic Tuner - Choose your instrument and play. The app will show you what note your playing on the staff. This is very helpful to beginning brass payers. http://www.bandmatetuner.com/
