Overview:
This is a single day conference in May that typically starts at 7am with emergency medicine resident students, opens to our public student registrants at 9am, and runs until about 5pm. It is held in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park at the historic Happy Days Lodge in Peninsula, OH - about 30 minutes from Cleveland or Akron. The schedule is 'choose your own adventure' with a variety of lectures, small group skills sessions, and larger group sessions outdoors being offered each 40-minute period; many of these are hands-on or active sessions. The day is meant to provide opportunities for learners at all skill levels- from introductory to cutting-edge topics and reports. Instructors come from across the country with a large variety of backgrounds and expertise. Healthcare professionals of all levels (RN, MD, PA, NP, EMT, PT, Pharm, students, etc.) and public servants are welcome.Â
