This session invites participants to explore transformative possibilities for diverse music learning through the lens of Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy (CSP). By integrating theoretical frameworks with practical application, the workshop addresses the dynamic challenges of the contemporary music classroom. Participants will examine the core of CSP, moving beyond the mere acknowledgement of difference to actively sustaining and extending the cultural lifeways of learners. Through a blend of lecture and collaborative music-making, the session demonstrates how to cultivate inclusive environments where student voices and identities are fully affirmed. The primary objective is to equip educators with the mindset to foster Student Agency in concrete ways. Ultimately, this approach positions music education as a vehicle for equity, transforming cultural diversity into a sustainable and meaningful asset within the learning process.

กิจกรรมนี้ชวนให้ทุกคนร่วมสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ใหม่สำหรับการเรียนรู้ดนตรีที่แตกต่างหลากหลายผ่านศาสตร์การสอนดนตรีที่มุ่งเน้นความยั่งยืนทางวัฒนธรรม (Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy - CSP) ด้วยกระบวนการเรียนรู้ที่ผสมผสานทั้งหลักการและการลงมือทำ เพื่อตอบโจทย์ความท้าทายของห้องเรียนดนตรีในปัจจุบันผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้ทำความเข้าใจแก่นของ CSP ที่มากกว่าการแค่ยอมรับความแตกต่าง แต่คือการรักษาและต่อยอดวิถีวัฒนธรรมของผู้เรียน ในกิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการบรรยายควบคู่กับกิจกรรมกลุ่มปฏิบัติการทางดนตรี ที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อให้เห็นภาพจริงของการเปลี่ยนห้องเรียนให้เป็นพื้นที่ปลอดภัย ที่ซึ่งเสียงและตัวตนของผู้เรียนได้รับการโอบอุ้มจุดมุ่งหมายสำคัญคือการสร้างวิธีคิดและความคิดให้ผู้สอนสามารถส่งเสริม ความเป็นผู้กระทำการของผู้เรียนได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ช่วยให้ดนตรีศึกษาเป็นพื้นที่และเครื่องมือในการสร้างความเท่าเทียม และทำให้ความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมอีกทั้งเป็นพลังที่ยั่งยืนและมีความหมายในการเรียนรู้
