Prerequisites

1. Official TWRP Version 3.4.0-1 Click to Download TWRP.img

2. If you have TWRP already installed, then no need of PC.
   If you don't have TWRP, you will need PC.

3. PEX Rom Click to Download the PEX Rom

Installation of TWRP with PC

• If you have TWRP installed then go directly for installing the rom

• If you Don't have TWRP Installed :

1. Download the Platform Tools

2. Unzip the file

3. Open the platform tools folder

4. Copy the Downloaded TWRP image into this folder

5. Open Powershell window there by pressing " Shift + Right Click "

6. Boot your Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 into Fastboot mode by pressing " Power button and Volume Down button "

7. Connect your device to your pc

8. Now in the PowerShell window type the following exact command
   fastboot devices

9. After typing this command it will show your device there with random alphabets

10. Now type the exact command
    fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.4.0-1-ginkgo.img

11. Now this will flash the TWRP

12. After its complete reboot your phone into recovery mode by pressing " Power Button + Volume Up "

13. Now you will boot into TWRP

Installation of PEX Rom

1. Download the Latest PEX Rom

2. Download the Official TWRP zip file

3. Boot into TWRP

4. Go to Wipe --> Advance --> Select Everything except Internal Storage

5. After checking everything " Swipe to confirm Wipe "

6. Then go back to main menu and Select Flash

7. Select the PEX Rom

8. Swipe to Flash the rom " Now wait for it to successfully Flash "

9. After successfully Flashing PEX Rom go to the home menu

10. Click on Reboot

11. Reboot into system

12. Now for flashing TWRP : Follow the Steps from "Installation of TWRP with PC"

13. Voila.... You have successfully flashed the PEX Rom as well as TWRP.
