Prerequisites

  1. Unofficial Orange Fox Recovery R11
    Click here to Download Orange Fox R11 Recovery.zip
    Click here to Download Orange Fox R11 Recovery.img

  2. If you have Orange Fox already installed, then no need of PC.
    If you don't have     Orange Fox Recovery , you will need PC.

  3. PEX Rom Click to Download the PEX Rom

Installation of Orange Fox R11 Recovery with PC

  • If you have Orange Fox R11 Recovery already installed then go directly for Installing the Rom

  • If you Don't have Orange Fox Recovery Installed :

  1. Download the Platform Tools

  2. Unzip the File

  3. Open the platform tools folder

  4. Copy the Downloaded OrangeFox.img into this folder

  5. Open Powershell window there by pressing " Shift + Right Click "

  6. Boot your Xiaomi Redmi 4a into Fastboot mode by pressing " Power button and Volume Down button "

  7. Connect your device to your pc

  8. Now in the PowerShell window type the following exact command
    fastboot devices

  9. After typing this command it will show your device there with random alphabets

  10. Now type the exact command
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

  11. Now this will flash the Orange Foox R11 Recovery

  12. After its complete reboot your phone into recovery mode by pressing " Power Button + Volume Up "

  13. Now you will boot into Orange Fox Recovery

Installation of PEX Rom

  1. Download the Latest PEX Rom

  2. Download the Unofficial Orange Fox Recovery R11 zip file

  3. Boot into Orange Fox Recovery

  4. Go to Wipe --> Select Everything except Internal Storage and SD Card

  5. After checking everything " Swipe to confirm Wipe "

  6. Then go back to main menu

  7. Select the PEX Rom

  8. Swipe to Flash the rom " Now wait for it to successfully Flash "

  9. After successfully Flashing PEX Rom go to the home menu

  10. Reboot into system

  11. Voila.... You have successfully flashed the PEX Rom
