Prerequisites

Official TWRP Version 3.4.0-1 Click here to Download TWRP.zip Click here to Download TWRP.img

If you have TWRP already installed, then no need of PC. If you don't have TWRP, you will need PC.

PEX Rom Click here to Download the PEX Rom

Installation of TWRP with PC

If you have TWRP installed then go directly for installing the rom

If you Don't have TWRP Installed :

Download the Platform Tools

Unzip the file

Open the platform tools folder

Copy the Downloaded TWRP image into this folder

Open Powershell window there by pressing " Shift + Right Click "

Boot your Mi A2 into Fastboot mode by pressing " Power button and Volume Down button "

Connect your device to your pc

Now in the PowerShell window type the following exact command fastboot devices

After typing this command it will show your device there with random alphabets

Now type the exact commandfastboot flash recovery twrp-3.4.0-1-jasmine_sprout.img

Now this will flash the TWRP

After its complete reboot your phone into recovery mode by pressing " Power Button + Volume Up "

Now you will boot into TWRP

Installation of PEX Rom

Download the Latest PEX Rom

Download the Official TWRP zip file

Boot into TWRP

Go to Wipe --> Advance --> Select Everything except Internal Storage

After checking everything " Swipe to confirm Wipe "

Then go back to main menu and Select miXiaomiXimiXiaomiXiFlashiFlash

Select the PEX Rom

Swipe to Flash the rom " Now wait for it to successfully Flash "

Now Flash the TWRP.zip file

After successfully Flashing both the TWRP and PEX Rom go to the home menu

Click on Reboot

Now If you are on SLOT A, Change your SLOT to

If you are on SLOT B, Change your SLOT to A

1. After changing the SLOT, just reboot into System

2. Voila.... You have successfully flashed the PEX Rom as well as TWRP.
