Library at C U Shah Polytechnic

The library has a large area of 525 square meters (LRUC) and a 351 square meter reading area. The library is supporting the students' education and research in the areas of engineering and technology. The library collection is developed according to GTU and AICTE norms as well as students' interests in the area of reading. The library is providing effective access to learning resources. The library is working towards the optimum satisfaction of students. We provide innovative, responsive, and effective services that meet the changing needs of the academic community. We provide a wide range of books, periodicals, and other media at appropriate levels for the needs of the institute. We put collective efforts into suitable collection development and reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible, ensuring that our resources are diverse and tailored to support the specific academic programs and research initiatives of the institute.

A huge collection of more than 20135 books is classified. The available collection covers various disciplines of engineering, literature, and languages. The library is well-equipped with 29 National & International Journals, 5 Newspapers, and 08 Magazines, which helps users to update their knowledge. The library committee also conducts an awareness seminar for digital library resources awareness every year. Apart from  that, the library committee also maintains the institute's own e-library. 

The reading room of the library has a total seating capacity of approximately 50 students at a time and a separate computer room with internet facilities to support digital learning.
