At C U Shah Government Polytechnic, Wadhwan City, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all our students, faculty, and staff. The Grievance Redressal Committee has been established to address and resolve any issues, concerns, or grievances that may arise within the institute.

Objectives:

• To provide a transparent mechanism for addressing grievances.

• To ensure fair, impartial, and prompt resolution of grievances.

• To create a harmonious atmosphere by promoting mutual respect and understanding.

Scope:

The Grievance Redressal Committee handles grievances related to:

• Academic matters (e.g., assessment issues, course content)

• Administrative matters (e.g., hostel accommodation, infrastructure)

• Harassment or discrimination

• Any other issues affecting the well-being of students, faculty, or staff

Grievance Redressal Procedure:

1. Submission of Grievance:

   • Students, faculty, or staff can submit their grievances in writing or through the online grievance portal available on the institute’s website.

   • The grievance should include detailed information about the issue, including any relevant documents or evidence.

2. Acknowledgment:

   • The committee will acknowledge receipt of the grievance within 48 hours of submission.

3. Investigation:

   • The committee will thoroughly investigate the grievance by gathering information, conducting interviews, and reviewing evidence.

   • Both parties involved will have an opportunity to present their case.

4. Resolution:

   • The committee will aim to resolve the grievance within 15 working days from the date of submission.

   • The resolution will be communicated to the concerned parties in writing.

5. Appeal:

   • If the aggrieved party is not satisfied with the resolution, they can appeal to the higher authorities within 7 days of receiving the decision.
