PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
We are so excited to have you audition for "The Curious Savage" at Evangel!
Auditions will be held on Sept 10th at 6pm with callbacks on Sept. 11th at 6pm. Students should prepare two contrasting monologues for the initial audition. Each student will have up to 3 minutes including a slate and both monologues. Please do not exceed the 3 minutes allotted. Students will not need to prepare anything for the callback.
On Sept. 10th, please wear a plain black shirt for headshots.
After auditions on Sept. 10th, we will post a callback list (under the callback page) for those we need to see again on Sept. 11th at 6:00pm. We will be doing cold readings at callbacks. If you are not on the callback list, it does NOT mean that you weren't cast.
Please go through all of the steps to sign up for an audition time and complete your audition form BEFORE your audition.
If you are interested in doing tech, you may fill out the google form under step 2 to show your interest. You are still eligible to audition as well!
For your research, you can view the script here.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, September 21. Initially, rehearsal times and days will be M/T/TH/F from 6-8 pm. As we progress, the length of the rehearsal times may expand as necessary. The performances will be November 4-8.
We are SO excited to have you audition, and please feel free to email any questions you have to bradforda@evangel.edu or butcherm@evangel.edu
Thank you!
Much love from your directors,
Professor Butcher, Professor Bradford, & Jon T. Spence
