"A picture always has a story to tell" is something I would always hear when first starting my journey as a photographer. That quote always stuck with me as I developed my skills further. When producing a digital story, I personally felt like this was the perfect opportunity to share my photography path. The art of photography is an immensely powerful medium, and I wanted to share that joy and emotion in a digital video. I started my journey and hesitated about joining this summer class. From there, I perused photography as a hobby by taking classes outside my school at the Florida Film Academy. I learned so much about how lenses work, what creates a good photo, and the importance of lighting. But I also learned other important skills, such as working with others and using them as models. Working together with people to help stage a set, and so much more. When given a creative outlet, you can express so many thoughts and feelings without using words. Art has the power to move people and change their perspective. I wanted others to feel impacted and understand how photos and photography have the power to move people.
