Dress comfortably, as if to work out at the gym. Remove all jewelry (earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, etc.) for safety. Wedding bands are fine, though diamond settings should be removed for safety of participants and the jewelry itself.

March 26, 2011
Sensei Cunningham is hosting a 6-week course in Ladies Self Defense that started on March 12, 2011. Many local women came out and were effectively taught various techniques including evading attackers, defense from the ground, hip throws, and various self defense applications. Local police came and spoke to the class to inform the ladies of their rights as far as self defense is concerned.
This is the first of many such self defense classes that Sensei Cunningham will be offering this year. Come back often to check on when you can get involved in the next event.
We lost a good friend on March 18, 2011. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Billy "Two Bears" Walston. Billy had a warrior's spirit and will be greatly missed.
