Weclome to Pack 3040!
Cub Scouting is centered on “doing”, everything is designed to engage Scouts in hands-on activities, projects, and experiences.
Through these activities, Scouts work toward the aims of Scouting: citizenship, character development, and personal fitness. Most of the program takes place during den and pack meetings, as well as through outings and overnight adventures.
In addition to the fun and excitement of activities, Cub Scouts also learn important traditions such as the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute. These help teach good citizenship while building confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.
Parent/Guardian Involvement and Volunteering:
Scouting is a parent-led, volunteer-run program. The adults who plan and run meetings, events, and pack activities are all parents and guardians who generously give their time to create a safe, fun, and meaningful experience for our Scouts.
Family involvement is essential to the success of our pack, and we truly need your support. There are many ways to help, from leadership roles at the pack or den level to assisting with meetings, events, and logistics. Every contribution, big or small, helps make Scouting possible for our children.
IMPORTANT: This is not a drop-off activity; it is a family activity. You are required to stay and monitor your children during all events and activities.
