Getting to Emory from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

  1. Mass transit. Emory can be reached by taking the red or gold MARTA subway line from the airport to the Lindbergh station and then transferring to Bus #6 that originates at that station. Bus #6 runs every 15 minutes during rush hour and every 30 minutes otherwise. If you are going to your hotel, let the bus driver know the address. If you are going to campus, ask the driver to let you off at the intersection of North Decatur Road and Oxford Road (G9 on map). Use the campus map to get you the rest of the way or enter the "Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures" as your destination into Google Maps and that will direct you to the front of the Modern Languages Building. One-way bus fare is $2.50. More information at http://www.itsmarta.com/.
  2. Taxi or ride-hailing service. Taxis are available right outside the baggage claim. Rides to campus average $45. Ride-hailing services have been temporarily moved to the economy parking lot. Follow signs at the baggage claim area. Rides to campus average $25. As your destination for either service use the address 1555 Dickey Drive. This will take you to a traffic circle in front of Tarbutton Hall. As you face the entrance Tarbutton, take the stairs to the left up alongside the building, and the Modern Languages Building will be the next building on your right. Once you are on foot, you can also use Google Maps: Enter the "Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures" as your destination and that will direct you to the front of the Modern Languages Building.
