Lock It Down: Passwords & Accounts
Strong Passwords
A strong password is your first line of defense. Make sure it's long (at least 12 characters), complex (mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols), and unique (don't use the same password for multiple accounts).
Password Managers
Consider using a password manager to securely store and manage your passwords.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enable 2FA whenever possible. It adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second form of verification (like a code sent to your phone).
Phishing
Be wary of suspicious emails or links. Don't click on anything you're unsure about. Phishing emails often try to trick you into giving away your login information. (Include an example of a phishing email – you can find examples online).
