Dipartimento di Matematica

Università degli Studi di Genova

via Dodecaneso, 35,

I-16146 Genova (GE) - Italia

For attending CT2021 onsite you must:

1) appear in the list of registered onsite participants (the deadline to register is 20 August 2021), otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the building;

2) fill in the FORM to provide additional information for organizers (the deadline to compile the form is 23 August 2021, by 12:00 Midday CEST), in particular when you plan to arrive at CT2021;

3) have an Italian or EU green-pass, or an equivalent certificate issued by other countries, which is valid for the period you attend CT2021 (this will be checked the first time you show up at the conference, before you receive the badge). Participants that have been vaccinated with vaccines recognized by EMA “de facto” satisfy the requirements for a EU green-pass.

If you come from abroad

Please use the following web site https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/ to see whether you can enter Italy, what documentation is required to enter, and what you have to do after entering.

What happens when you arrive at CT2021 for the first time

Participants are expected to register on the first day (30 August 2021) between 09:00 and 10:30. If you arrive on a later day, you will be allowed in only in the morning (08:40-08:55) or at lunchtime (13:30-13:45).

l Before entering the building a person from the organization will check that

1. you are on the list of onsite participants;

2. your temperature is at most 37.5 C;

3. you have a valid Italian green-pass or equivalent certification (you need to have the certification and an ID card with you when you are at the conference).

l If you satisfy the requirements to enter the building, you will receive a ticket with a progressive number (indicating your position in the queue of participants waiting to be registered) and your seat number, and you will be asked to take your seat and wait until your progressive number is called.

l When your number is called by the person at the registration desk

1. your Italian green pass will be checked again, to see whether it is valid for the entire duration of the conference (you may be asked to show also your ID card);

2. you will receive a badge with the seat position assigned to you for the entire duration of the conference, and the conference kit.

l After completing the registration you can go back to your seat or move in the spaces allocated to the conference. If you leave the conference space, bring your badge with you.

What happens on subsequent days

On subsequent days participants are expected to enter the conference venue between 08:40 and 09:00. Before entering each participant will be asked to show the conference badge and check the temperature (green-pass and ID card should always be carried along, although they will not be checked if one wears the conference badge).

IMPORTANT: indoor in public places a mask must always be worn, except during catering services; in public places (indoor and outdoor) social distancing must be of at least one meter.

The onsite part of the conference will be held in Genova, at the Maths Department, rooms 508 and 509.

From the Cristoforo Colombo airport to Brignole Train Station there is the Volabus, a bus crossing the city centre running 7 days a week. See also the web site of the Airport.

To get to the department we suggest you get off at Genova Brignole Train Station. In front of the station there is a bus stop. Those for the department are 16, 17 or 45.

1. If you take 16 or 17 get off at the stop

Europa 1 / Ospedale San Martino

From here you have to go up (there are stairs and a road) to Via Padre Sameria (on the opposite side from the hospital).
