(1) Models, Modelling & System models (15-20 min)

• Models & Modelling

  • Tools: Google Draw, MindMup, StopMotionAnimator

• Systems Models

(2) Developing models using with Google Slides (Norm, 5 min). Practice

(3) Teams develop models (teams in breakout rooms, 20 min) - Teachers work in breakout rooms to develop models related to a phenomenon from their groups lesson sequence (20 min). The model should:

• delimit a system

• show the relationship between variables in the system

• indicate how system inputs influence outputs

• be useful in explain the phenomenon.

(4) Sharing (large group, 10 min) - Teachers share their models with the larger group. Teachers from the larger group make suggestions and edits to their models
