The purpose of this workshop was to teach students about how to apply to become a substitute teacher. Substitute teachers, on average, can make around $180-210 a day, depending on some school districts. The main requirements for a substitute permit are 90 college units and your basic skills requirement. It also looks great on a resume that you already work for a school district because you can gain several connections with teachers there, and you have classroom experience.
