Prior to the 2024 Presidential election, the CSU College Democrats kicked off what we call our 'Voter Activation Series.' The goal of the VAS is to empower voters, amplify college and youth voices in Cuyahoga County and NE Ohio, and inspire young Ohioans to engage in the democratic process. Our aim is not just to advocate for Democratic candidates, but to champion ideas and policies that will uplift all Ohioans from the shores of Lake Erie to the Fields of Middleburg to the concrete jungle of Columbus.

Every month, at least, the CSU CD Executive Board publishes our newsletter called, 'The Liberal Agenda.' 

We post our newsletter anywhere and everywhere! It always has up-to-date action items our organization supports, volunteer opportunities, endorsements, announcements, and more!  

No other College Democrat Chapter in the State has stood up to their University and won. 

We are happy to be included in CSU and the RTA's negotiations and data collection on the U-Pass program. We are looking forward to the next steps. 

Our organization led the push to get the bus pack BACK after it was taken from us - leaving the most vulnerable of us high and dry with no real way to get to and from campus. Thank you to our partners, Clevelanders for Public Transit, for all of their work in bringing this valuable program back -  even for a short time. 

On October 1, 2025, the GOP controlled White House, House of Representatives, and Senate sent us into a government shutdown. 

The CSU College Democrats have begun an online campaign to educate our fellow Vikings on the effects a federal government shutdown may have on our campus community!
