Basic Life Support (BLS) members trained in basic life saving procedures.

Members trained in safe driving operations of the ambulance. Best for those who want to get a foot in the medical world and try it out!

Our Mission
American Medical Response is a private, hospital-based ambulance company out of Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) that serves Los Angeles, California. We work in providing a comprehensive spectrum of healthcare services, encompassing emergency medical care, non-emergency transportation, BLS, ALS, and tactical response (TEMS), and our presence extends across various regions nationwide, working in partnership with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

AMR provides mutual aid with LAFD to provide a
BLS or ALS Ambulance in an area not covered by LAFD
ALS Fly-car countywide for rapid advance care
On-Call Tactical EMS (TEMS) for hostile situations
Scheduled Hospital Transport for doctor appointments as well as back home
Scheduled Ambulance Event Standbys
Scheduled Educational Classes for Organizations such as LAPD Trainees!
