CSRA RESA will be offering scholarship opportunities for the following endorsements during the 2023-2024 school year:

• Dyslexia Endorsement

• ESOL Endorsement

• Gifted Endorsement

• K-5 Mathematics Endorsement

• Reading Endorsement

All teachers who are employed by a CSRA RESA member school district are encouraged to apply for an endorsement scholarship.  Funds provided by the scholarship will cover the cost of tuition and books needed to complete the endorsement.  

*If you did not apply for an endorsement through your school district but would like to take an endorsement through CSRA RESA, please apply for one of these regional endorsement scholarships.  

The applications will be reviewed by an application review team comprised of educators from throughout the CSRA.  While all teachers are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to those who meet the following eligibility criteria:

1.       Currently serve in one of the 98 Title 1 Schools in the CSRA RESA;

2.       Currently serve in a rural school district as specified by state free and reduced lunch data; and

3.       Currently fall in the category of 10 or less years of teaching experience.

The three priorities listed above will get first review, but any teacher is encouraged to apply in order to fill in additional available slots.

If you are interested in applying for one of these endorsement scholarships, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. First, print or save a digital or scanned copy of your teaching certificate.  Scan or save this file. 

2. Next, complete the CSRA RESA Endorsement Scholarship Form. Upload your teaching certificate using the link included in this form.  

3. Scoring rubric: The applications will be judged by the following scoring rubric: Endorsement Scholarship Rubric

The application deadline is March 17, 2023. 

Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by April 12, 2023.

*Please note:  Endorsement scholarships are intended for regional cohorts of the programs listed above.  Scholarship applications should only be completed by candidates wishing to participate in a regional endorsement cohort.  You will not complete a scholarship application if you are applying for an endorsement cohort taking place within your school system.
