Assignment Description- 

For this assignment me and partner we expected to each research a country. We were to focus on their population, demographics, languages spoken, climate, and their technology usage and culture around it. Once the research for each country was done we would come together and create a presentation comparing the two countries and their digital divide. I chose to do my research on Portugal and when it came time to do the presentation I chose to do Argentina as the second country.

Interesting fact-

A fact that I found interesting while researching for this presentation is that fact that these two countries are pretty close to each other in many different areas of my research, for example, both countries have 89% of their population on the internet. I found this interesting because of how different these countries are. They are in different continents, and have vastly different population sizes. I think this shows that in our day and age with technology covering almost the whole earth, many countries are starting to assimilate to one and other, being that the same pieces of media can be spread throughout the entire world so easily.

Lessons learned-

After creating this presentation I learned that two countries with so many differences in culture, language, climate, and demographics, can be so similar in other ways. This showed me that with the increase in technology usage and the spreading of information, two completely different countries separated by thousands of miles can be so similar.
