Assignment Description -
For this assignment, I will display a collection of media types (image, audio, animation, and video). Additionally, I will include the copyright information through using Creative Commons.
To acquire this image I used Google and searched "New York City"
I opened the site Pexels to access the image.
I right-clicked and saved the image to my download folder on my device.
This image falls under "Public Domain" or CC0 1.0 meaning :
No rights are reserved to this image. CC0 allows owners of media to publish there work as public domain. This meaning they waiver any rights to their work, leaving it for anyone to share, edit, copy, and use their work. This allows you to even use the work for commercial purposes without needing permission of any kind.

I found this gif through Google, all I did was search up "Gif" and selected this penguin,
I saved this to my device and uploaded it to Google Sites.
This particular gif can be found on Wikimedia Commons which is an extension of Wikipedia, but for media types (images, audio, gifs, etc.)

This video has an all-rights reserved copyright stamp. This means the creator has not relinquished any rights. Nobody is allowed to reproduce, distribute, or derive work from the original content without direct permission from the lawful right owners.

Note: I chose this video because I thought it was silly and I spent too much time watching through them.

I downloaded this song to my device. I then uploaded it to my Google Drive and embedded it into my site.
To find this audio, I used the Creative Commons extension into Jamendo by searching "Lofi."
Jamendo distributes content that would otherwise be copyrighted. Their Creative Commons license grants basic rights to distribute copyrighted material worldwide for non-commercial purposes without any modifications. Individual artists may choose what types of license to mark their work under, they may choose to reserve or relinquish rights for public use.

Lessons learned
This was one of my favorite assignments. I got to use so many different types of websites and learned about how differently certain media can be uploaded/paged. Additionally, I learned so much about copyright and Creative Common licenses, I never really understood what copyright was until I did this assignment!
