Unit 6

Overview

In unit 6, I worked with database to retrieve, sort, and organize information. I also practiced analyzing data to find different things about it and study it a bit.

Database Assesment

I used the database at https://www.british-history.ac.uk/ to work on for the discussion board. I filtered my results by keywords, subjects, and dates, and I sorted them by relevance to find what I needed. While exploring, I noticed the database stores information in connected tables, which makes searching and organizing everything easier. The DBMS was a relational database.

Unit 6 Notes

I learned new key terms in this unit. The words I learned in this unit is field, record, query, DBMS, information and nsbp. I already had a good idea what data, knowledge, and wisdom was.

Overall, I learned about databases and how they help us find, organize, and study information.
