Unit 2

Unit 2 was my hardest unit. It focused on business applications like word, PowerPoint, and excel.

Mind Map

I learned what I need to do to be successful this winter semester as I am busy. One of the biggest things I learned was that if I don't get my exercise in for baseball then I feel like I didn't get everything I should in that day. I also learned that I need to be more careful because I remembered that a few times in the fall, I turned the wrong word documents on assignments.

Technology Skills

I knew pretty alot of stuff in word and PowerPoint because I have used them since elementary school, but I cannot say that for excel. The SIM Path's this unit were the hardest ones so far for me when I had to do the excel ones. I had to use hints a lot to complete the parts because if not I would've never figured it out. But Luckly I learned things within excel like the fundamental spreadsheet skills some being the ribbons, rows, columns, and sheets. Also, some formulas like SUM and Average. I also learned how to insert and delete rows/columns and hide them. These would lead to the midterm which was pain.

Reflection

Unit 2 was a tough unit as I didn't really know how to use some of the things we were working with like excel and powerpoint.
