Unit 5

Unit 5 Overview

In Unit 5, I get to use everything I've learned so far with two projects. The first where I picked a country with a partner using word and powerpoint. The second one is researching a new technology and presenting on a recording in brightspace or in person. I didn't present in person so I did the video.

What Did I learn Doing These 2 Projects

Turkey's population is just over 86 million people. The main language spoken in Turkey is Turkish and some English. I learned the technology usage is very high and 96.45% of all homes in Turkey have access to the internet. The climate for Turkey is cool and rainy climate near the Mediterranean west coast. Located just off the Black sea. Technology is changing everything, including sports. The sport I chose was baseball. Baseball is changing because they have influenced robotic umpires that can make calls more accurately unlike human umpires in the past. This could change how players pitch and hit in the game. With this new advancement, umpires might work with the technology instead of being replaced by it. While it makes things more precise, it also makes you wonder about how much technology should be used in upcoming things such as sports.
