Project Description:
To research and present an emerging technology on PowerPoint and practice my digital communication and presentation skills.
I chose this topic because I am applying to the Radiology Technology Program and I figured that researching something in the field will be beneficial to my learning.
One interesting thing I learned: Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are deep learning models that specialize in pattern recognition. This is one of the main ways that AI uses to interpret imaging.

I learned so many things about AI emerging in radiology. So much information is out there on this topic. Trying to gather and summarize the information into 6 slides was a little tough, but I think I was able to accomplish this task fairly well. I also updated my PowerPoint skills with the new software by creating a presentation for this project as well as learned how to record audio to present it online to my peers.
