Be thoughtful in your responses, it will help shape your student profile.

Once you complete the assessment, it will tell you about your personality and then have you work through the following tabs to choose your career of interest based on your results. You can change this at a later time. 

After your first initial assessment, you will be taken to your SchooLinks homepage. Note the tabs on the side and at the top of your homepage. There is a lot to navigate but this platform will be so helpful on your post-high school planning journey. 

On your homepage, you will see the tabs at the top. You will have a "To Do List", complete those tasks as they appear for you to do them. The "Events" tab should be checked weekly! This is where district events, College rep, Industry Partner and Military visits will be posted and where you can find out about College and Career Center field trips to sign up for. 

Under the student tab to the left of the screen, you can view your profile which allows you to build your resume! Fill out your profile with as much information as possible. This will also help your teachers and staff get to know you better. 

The tab on the left that says "Plan" is very important! This is where seniors will complete their High School and Beyond Plan for graduation - Click on the "Personalized Plan" drop down to start. 

You can retake or take new assessments under the "Explore" tab to the left of the screen. 

The "Engage" tab on the left hand side will allow you to see upcoming events, see the opportunity board for internships, jobs, volunteer opportunities etc. 

The "Career" tab to the left allows you to explore careers, see which states have the most job openings for certain career paths. You can also watch VR Workplace Tours to envision what your environment would be in a certain career field. 

The "College" tab on the left allows you to do so much! You can search and learn in-depth information about schools, you can filter by what you are looking for in a school and a list of matching schools will pull up. You can also link your Common App account and work on your college applications through SchooLinks.
