WA Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP)TM

Families of seniors, Tacoma Public Schools has agreements with several Washington colleges to guarantee admission for qualifying students. 

The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP)TM supports a college-going culture and guaranteed admission efforts at:

• Central Washington University

• Eastern Washington University

• The Evergreen State College

• University of Washington Tacoma

• Washington State University

• Western Washington University

Criteria for guaranteed admission is:

• A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

• On track to complete all College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs) by fall 2025

Pacific Lutheran University has recently started a guaranteed admission program for high school seniors with a 3.3+ cumulative GPA.

You may receive an email from the Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program and/or Pacific Lutheran University. The email will share the name of one or more colleges to which admission requirements have been met. Even though admission is guaranteed, students must complete an application if they want to attend that college.
