Meet Kevin, a college student that is interested in going to medical school, he has taken all the prerequisite courses needed and has great scores.
Kevin is hesitating about going into med school. He has dreamed about becoming a doctor but heard that being a doctor comes with a lot of work and responsibilities. There are also a wide range of specialties that's difficult to choose from.
Kevin can volunteer at a hospital, but he couldn't possibly experience all the various specialties. It is also difficult to fully experience the actual stressful and fast-paced working environment in hospitals through reading articles or watching videos.
Kevin finds ResiLens on his VR headset. He decides to use ResiLens, where he can see what the day-to-day tasks of a doctor are from the point of view of many different fields of medicine. The realistic visual and audio stimuli as well as interactive tasks helped Kevin understand what it's actually like to be a doctor.
After getting to see the different areas of medicine, Kevin feels a lot more prepared and informed on what doctors do, and he feels more motivated to apply and continue his studies!
