I honestly had a lot of trouble with coming up with an idea for this, so I settled for just a regular button presser.
The idea is something you'd make in a backyard, hence the wooden panel background and dominos, and really, which kid hasn't wanted a wrecking ball in their backyard.
I tried to section off an amount of frames so I could plan the obstacles around it. It worked well and showed me which frames were for which camera.
I went with ramps as my first test for dynamics since that's what I was playing around with and just decided to incorporate it. It's whats in every rube goldberg machine with a ball!
I got the idea for this one when I made a cool looking torus, thought it looked like chains, and then decided to make a wrecking ball.
I wanted it to break a wall but the cubes method looked bad and I couldn't properly shatter a cube without it messing up to break that.
The idea for this was created when I saw my roommate transferring orange juice from one container into another with a funnel and remembered those coin donation machines that I loved when I was a kid.
They also get used in every Rube Goldberg machine with a ball, like in the top picture with the cups.
I was looking for inspiration online and saw the dominos and copied it. They're very very original, I'm sure
There was no reason I could come up with for a reason for this machine to exist so I just decided for there to be a button. I also had no time to model something functional due to the flu.
When it's rendered, it glows!
