Contact Your Town Councilor 

Life is busy and not everyone can make it out to a Tuesday evening council meeting.  It only takes a couple of minutes to send an email to your representative on the Town Council to voice support. If you have the time, CC the other councilors so they know the level of support throughout the town.

I am a resident of Silver City and I want to communicate my support for establishing a Citizen's Advisory Board (CAB) by passing the ordinance to be presented as a Notice of Intent on March 25th.  

This board will:

• Build trust between the community and the SCPD

• Decrease liability risk (saving the town money)

• Provide a productive outlet for the town's citizens to voice grievances

• Seek out ways to improve efficacy, officer safety, transparency, and training for the SCPD

• Keep the council informed about important developments in the relationship between the SCPD and the citizenry.
