The CSB softball team has had an exciting start to the season. With the help of the excellent grounds crew (Treff Richert and Tom Jorgensen) the team was able to have their first outdoor practice on February 22nd. The turf field allows us to plow the snow and play as soon as warm temperatures allow. It was an exciting day to be able to move outside so soon!

SCSU Scrimmage
The MIAC currently allows teams to have 1 expect scrimmage apart from the annual alumnae contest. This year the team hosted SCSU at their home turf. This was the first year since Coach Click's arrival that SCSU traveled to CSB. Normally the game takes place early in the year at the Husky dome, but since the weather was nice they moved the contest outside. The team showed up played great and ended up beating St. Cloud 9-2 in 7 innings of work!

The team will be hosting some exciting home non-conference games against great regional opponents. Games will be lives streamed at the gobennies.com website, but we will also be welcoming fans at our outdoor events! (COVID protocol requires all fans to mask and socially distance).
